I Can Sing of Your Love Forever (How I'm beginning to be more satisfied in God's love)

"I Can Sing of Your Love Forever" is a simple yet beautiful worship song and a declaration of God's love. I sometimes find myself searching for something that'll really leave me satisfied. Though I've been a Christian for as long as I can remember, I still feel myself searching for something more in life. But honestly, if I'm searching for something that's more than God then that's simply impossible and I won't find it. I ponder and ask myself "why is it that I'm looking for?" I have everything that I need and more in Christ. But a lot of the times it's not always easy for us to see that. Here, I'm going to share with you just how I feel about God's love and that instead of constantly trying to meet others approvals, I'm learning to become more and more satisfied in God's love and who he made me to be. Here's a little something I'd like to share from a devotional about God's love:

Devotional
God’s love for you is pure, trustworthy and constant. God is the love of your life; he breathed life into you and sent Jesus Christ to die for your sins. When you received Jesus as your Savior, God promised you eternal life with him.

Your name is engrafted in the palm of God’s hand. Despite any displeasing thing you’ve thought or action you’ve done, God loves you. Nothing can separate you from the love of God!

Praise God that he doesn’t love like the world loves on a conditional basis but God loves you unconditionally. You might have experienced some detrimental events throughout the course of life, but I want to encourage you today to receive God’s love because he really does love you. Turn in to your loving father’s arms and thank him for his love that is active right now and forever.

Although you’ve experienced hurtful situations that God can use for your good, remember God loves you. God will never leave you nor forsake you no matter what you are going through. If you are living in disobedience, repent now and follow God’s will, word and way, because God sets parameters in your life because of his love for you. A repentant heart and lifestyle is necessary for a fruitful relationship with Our Heavenly Father.

Family members, friends, colleagues or people you trusted and respected at one point and time probably hurt, misused and abused you in the most vile way; even after proclaiming their love for you, but remember today God loves you and will always love you. God’s love will contend with those who contend with you! (Psalm 135:1) God’s got you covered in his love. Even in the midst of challenging situations when you’re searching for answers on why a loving God would allow you to go through trials and tribulations, trust him today. Nothing escapes God!! Nothing! He knows what is going on in your life, and when you begin to grow in relationship with him you will realize the truth of his love and plan for your life.

Walk confidently in God’s love today. Don’t harbor bitterness, hate, resentment, criticism, sarcasm, pride or arrogance. Receive God’s love and in doing so you will learn to reflect God’s love to others.

Thank God that He comes through in loving you! Believe and receive it today.

Wow, how beautifully worded that is and how true it really is! The way that I really began being satisfied in God's love is for one thinking about what he endured for us. How he chose death for us and as I pondered about the death on the cross that Jesus endured, I begin to understand just how real and powerful God's love really is. Maybe some people say "I love you" and you may feel unsure if they mean it because of the lack of expression but with God's love we can be certain that when God says "He loves us," it's for real and is love will never fail. I begin to feel that when I tell God that I love him, I sometimes don't show it as much as I should and that's just what I started to do. I began to express my love to God in new ways. After listening to the song "Reckless love" several times, I felt like through that song God's love is being broken down and amazingly revealed just how much God really loves us. As I began to express how much I love God, I began to feel God's love for more and more. It's as if God was asking me questions for so long and now I'm finally responding.

I know sometimes there's some things that I really desire in life but knowing that God loves me is a real honor and I should acknowledge and be thankful for that everyday. Other ways that I have felt god's love is when I take the time to admire his beautiful creations. I feel like by me watching over the river or looking at an open field, it's my way of having a real connection with God.

I have been so happy to share this with you guys today. I want you guys to be open to expressing your love for God too. Also, maybe some of you don't know God for yourself but I just wanna let you know that his door is open and his arms are wide open. You can experience his love too if you just give him a chance. Just like I did. He has so much in store for you. Also, let the way that God loves us inspire us to love others and let it be shown through our actions that our love for on e another is 100% real.

I love how God uses me through writing, and I love how I allow myself to be so open and that you guys can get to know the real me. I want to continue to invite you in on this journey of mine. 5 Ways To Supercharge Your Life

Well, I know y'all are saying "It's been a minute since kammy has updated her blog" and I agree with you 100%, but I was in my writer's hole just figuring out life and constantly finding ideas to keep making amazing blog posts. Trust me, it's not an easy task but it's something that I truly love doing. Anyhow, I wanted to make a list of ways to supercharge your life. Maybe there's someone out there like me and you feel like your life is very boring and repetitive. Well, I'm here to give you just a few suggestions on how you can amp up the fun and excitement in your life. Let's begin...

1. Travel, travel, travel. Traveling is a great way to escape from the boring routines of life. I find it exciting when I even go to new cities in my state. One of the things I've been wanting to do in my life is visit every city in CT. There's a lot of towns and places that I've never heard of and wouldn't have if I didn't research it. Traveling improves your health. From cutting down on stress, to lowering your chances of developing a heart disease, the health benefits of traveling are huge. Traveling also disconnects you from your daily lives. there's an endless amount of things that we have to deal with and think about on a daily basis, but isn't it great when we're able to just put all of it to rest just for a little while? It's good for our mental health to be able to not think about school, jobs, achievements, etc... and have time just for ourselves to relax and explore the world. Sometimes it's best to take a step back, take a deep breath and take that Tower Bridge selfie!  Traveling can allow so many great experiences for your life and add great enjoyment that you may never get a chance to have if you allowed work and school to always get in your way.

2. Invest More Time in Your Hobbies. I'm sure there's a majority of people who have some type of hobby. According to the dictionary, hobbies is a regular activity done for enjoyment typically during one's leisure time. Maybe a lot of us don't have time to really enjoy hobbies, but let me tell you, finding the time for them at some point in your life is worth it. I am one of those people who have neglected my hobbies for awhile and have become drained because my time and energy has mostly been spent on work and career related things and how to stay on top. Those things are very important in life and something we should all think about, but it can make us overwhelmed if we put too much thought into it. For a lack of a better word, if we worry about our future then that's when it becomes overwhelming. So, hobbies are both enjoyable and, depending on the type of hobby you have, can expand your creativity. Reading is one of my hobbies and it helps expand my vocabulary, listening to music strengthens learning and memory. Taking time for our hobbies can be very beneficial to us in many ways.

3. Spend Time with Friends/ Meet People. I often stress the importance of having a social life is. I feel like if your social life is in a good place it can help numerous things like: Reduces risk of many significant health problems, depression, high blood pressure, and an unhealthy body mass index. Studies have shown that people with richer social lives are likely to live longer. Friendships can also boost your happiness and reduce your stress. You all know how much better your life is when you're doing it with others. Of course, problems will still arise but isn't it more comforting when you can count on someone to listen to you and understand you. For those who were like the teenager me (with no social life), I want you to try your very best to make connections. You may not hit it off with someone right off the bait and sometimes you will, but believe in yourself and let others see that you believe in yourself. Don't let them see you view yourself negatively on the first few meetings. However, when a relationship gets stronger you can express to them some of your struggles and such, but remember, your friends aren't a tissue box haha. I've learned not to always just talk about my problems to my friends but tell them my ideas and funny stories. You'd be surprised at some of the places you can meet new people. Places like the library, stores, various events. You can also meet new people by getting involved in something like I did! Find somewhere you can start volunteering, find a social group you can be apart of where they share the same interests as you like video game groups, bookclubs, knitting circles and things like that. Today is your day and I dare you to take up your social life a notch. You'll be glad you did.

4. Do Something You've Never Done Before. Yes, it's scary for most of us but sometimes very rewarding at the same time. And no,I don't mean to ridiculous things like climb the effel tower, but do things that are within reason. Try a new sport or instrument. If you suck at it, who cares you know that it was just for a fun life experience. But sometimes you gotta stretch yourself a little bit in order to discover what you're really capable of doing. By doing something that you've never done it can help overcome fear, gives you a chance to get to know yourself better and stimulates creativity! So go on, try something today, tomorrow or whenever. You can do it!

5. Go to a Concert or Some Type of Fun Event. Me and my sister have gone to concert every year for about 13 years now. It has become an annual thing for us. Why? Because it's something we can look forward to and act a little crazy sometimes haha. But it's great to have that type of thing in your life that you can look forward to. It can be a concert, or sporting event or going to the museum. Each of us have our own  definitions of fun and different ways we like to have fun. But the important part is that, we give ourselves the reward of doing whatever it is to have fun. To jump up and down and scream. Doing fun things can boost our energy and improve our connection with others because, when we're doing something fun we most likely don't do it alone, do we? And if you do, heck it's your life. Have fun with your life!

Well, that concludes my list. Let me know your thoughts on this blog post in the comments below. Let know if you'd consider doing some of these things to help better your life (or supercharge as I like to say). If introverted me is willing to do some of these things, I know that you can do it too. Enjoy your week, month, year, however long it may be that you guys hear from me again. Hopefully it'll be soon and I'll find ways to keep my creative juices flowing.

Keep being great,

Kammy❤👋😊

A Rainbow Here, A Rainbow There

Seeing a rainbow in the sky after a thundershower is one of the most captivating things ever. I remember one day after work, I saw a few people scattered around trying to get a picture of the beautiful rainbow appearing in the sky. There's just something about seeing a rainbow that brightens your day. It captures our attention.

I bet a lot of us would love to see a rainbow appear in our life after stormy days or weeks. Those rainbows can appear in many different ways. Whether that rainbow be a job or job promotion you've been hoping or praying for, flourishing relationships, or maybe you just need a new start in your life from all the brokenness that has been caused. I wanna tell you a little bit on how I have seen rainbows appear in my life.

A Rainbow In My Career Path - I can't say that I still have the job that I would like to have but, I can say that I am heading in a good direction as far as productiveness in my career. I have recently started volunteering for the library and am going to lead a program there. I feel like it's a great opportunity for me, especially considering the fact that I've been wanting to get a job at a library. I feel like by showing diligence and commitment with my volunteer work, it can lead to great opportunities for a job. I one day was just searching on the internet for volunteer opportunities for me to apply for. Simsbury Library popped up and I applied and the next few days I got an email about when I'd like to start and also about me leading programs. I was very about about the volunteer opportunity. By me showing diligence toward the career field that I am considering, it led me to the first step on how I could possibly build my way up to a good paying job. I'm excited about how these opportunities will help further myself and my career. I know that being apart of a library is a perfect job for me as a writer. I dream to even own a bookstore of my own.

A Rainbow In My Self - Confidence - The ways that I feel like I've gain confidence over the past year or so has grown tremendously. Though I still have my moments of feeling a little less confident, I definitely can say that I feel much more confinement in many areas than I have a few years ago. I have lately been challenging myself to do hard things and to do things that are out of my safety zone. I continue to feel like God wants to give me a push but I'm not budging. Though God doesn't have to wait on me to push me but, because he is a gracious God, I believe he wants to reveal it to me that I have so much more within myself that I could ever imagine. I continue to feel like I'll stay at the "just ok" status but God sees me much more than 'just ok" even when I mess up or am a bit slower in the race. I have a great purpose in life that is time for me to start living out. So, I feel like rainbows are beginning to radiate over my self- confidence in beautiful and new ways.

A Rainbow In My Spiritual Life - During the Easter season, I connected with God in ways that I never have before. I have allowed myself to truly immerse myself in God's presence. Maybe by me saying that is a lot for you guys to grasp or understand but there were moments when I would just cry out to God about everything that's going on in my life. As I cried out, I can feel God wrapping his arms around me and saying "You're safe. Be brave Kamera." I am God's beloved child and at that moment I really felt like I belonged to God. that he loved me more than I ever could know. I had times when I feel like I broke my promises to God because I had gone against some of the things that I said I wouldn't do during that time period. But as I've said before, that made me think of how great our God really is. because though I messed up and broken my promises, he is still so merciful and forgiving. We would not have received that forgiveness or love if it had not been for the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I'm so thankful for the resurrecting king who is resurrecting me.

A Rainbow In My Relationships - I have mention many times how I want to grow socially and be able to connect more with my friends. that was one of the answers that I was praying for to God during my fast. In God's own way, he has slowly made that possible for me to connect with some of the great people in my life. During my Ester production at my church, I was able to see my friends much more and discuss great things with them. I was thankful hat they have been so supportive and encouraging. I'm thankful that they have given me second chances. I'm thankful for how we are growing in Christ together. Also, there's a guy friend that I have talked about on many blog posts and that relationship has progressed in significant ways. On a romantic status, we have seriously discussed how we plan to go about things and have created boundaries for ourselves. We are slowly taking steps in the direction that we've finally been wanting to take for awhile. For me, building means a lot in a relationship, I feel like with this guy we built a great friendship which is... well, great! I love that we have developed a great friendship. I'm excited for all that is to come with all of my relationships.

Maybe this whole thing about rainbows appearing in your life is something a bit complex for you guys to wrap around your mind but, just think about how you feel when you see real rainbows in the sky. How does it make you feel? Or think about how the plants look when they have sunshine and water, doesn't it enhance its beauty? Just think about how you can apply something like that to your life. Would like a rainbow yo to appear in your personality? Maybe you want to be happier or more grateful.

Whatever way it is, let your life explode with vibrant colors!

Keeping My Focus

How do I stay focused? Many people in today’s time are constantly looking for ways to stay focused.
To find the “why”, we have to look no further than the hundreds of distractions a person is faced with in day to day living. More focus is needed to accomplish what they need and to combat these distractions.
But, do we really want more focus? Or is it that we need less distraction?
Focus is defined by the center of interest or activity. A condition in which something can be clearly apprehended or perceived.
We know that from neural science that mental energy used for mental faculty is not infinite throughout the day but actually limited. The brain like any other cells in the body, uses a form of sugar called glucose to fuel cellular activity.
Sometimes it takes everything in me to keep a good amount of focus, especially on something very important such as a test or some other type of project. During holy week, I have been fasting from things that has caused me lots of distraction and has made me lose a bit of focus on who matters most and that is God. God placed it on my heart to begin a 10 day fast where I only listen to Christian music, read Christian books and watch Christian television. I had my temptations a lot and haven't even noticed when I was breaking my promises to God. That also brought me to remembrance of how grateful I am that God forgives us and that we're able to receive that forgiveness through the death of Jesus.

It's difficult for me to keep my focus and I really frustrate myself when I make a promise or a decision and I fail to follow through. There's tons of alerts that pop up on my phone and I always say to myself that I won't spend too much time catching up on these things but then I end up spending 30-40 minutes catching up on the latest music, news or social media post. These things are truly enjoyable to me but, I believe God wants me to learn how to find balance between all these things. With almost anything there's a cost, but depending on how much you want it you'll be willing to pay that cost and bite the bullet. I'm certain Jesus didn't want to sacrifice his lie and die the way he did but he did it because in the end there would be great results. Look at what we have because of that selfless act he made? Redemption, forgiveness and a relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Now, speaking from a bit of a non-bibical way, we all need to be more focus from time to time. It doesn't mean that we can't enjoy watching a funny video or scrolling through some of our favorite social media feeds but it just means that we put important matters first and that way we will find ourselves feeling much more productive and responsible. I've gotten myself in some serious gunk by being so unfocused, and I continue to whine why I don't feel very responsible or don't feel accepted as a responsible young adult. So, as I've taken some time off from things that I enjoy, I am taking steps toward being more responsible, having a better relationship with God and being more productive with my daily important tasks.

I will admit that I've taken quite a bit of time off from blogging and writing because I have been distracted from personal issues. Once again, I have allowed myself to lose focus. Then I thought about how often writing has allowed me to escape from my problems or negativity and has allowed my mind to focus on something much more worthwhile. I have exhausted myself by worrying or just being down on myself about not getting a lot of things done but I had not even thought about how simple the solution really was. The answers have been right in front of my face. I needed to decided where my focuses should be. Am I going to choose to just focus on the negative and let myself sink in the deep sea or I can choose to focus on the good things and pushing myself to be and do my very best and let myself float on the clouds.

I have a choice and you have a choice. We can shift our focuses on better things, important things, meaningful things. We can think about the future but not worry about it. We can check out the fun stuff on our phones but not let it make us late for an appointment or possibly make us fail a test. We can cry from a breakup but not lose sleep because of it. Keeping a good amount of focus will help us live healthier and more productive lives.

Do you agree? Let me know in the comments how you have been less focused and how you plan to be more focused.

Keep your head up and dream big dreams

Spring Inspiration

Hello Spring, it's so nice to see you again!

I don't know about you but, there's just something about warmer weather that also warms my heart. Springtime seems to give me a new view on life and makes me very appreciative of the more simple things in life. A lot of times I tend to want so much to make life happier. but oftentimes it can be even the smallest things that bring true happiness like fresh air, rest, clean water, etc... All of these things are beneficial to us in small ways. I want to take this opportunity to remind you guys to be happy about the smaller things in life. It's not easy and it's not going to make you not want the bigger things in life but just take time to give the smaller things some recognition also.

Here's a part of a devotional talking about how God allows us to use basic, everyday things in life:

Today's Scripture & Insight:

As we bowed our heads over lunch, my friend Jeff prayed: “Father, thank You for letting us breathe Your air and eat Your food.” Jeff had just been through a difficult job loss, so his heartfelt trust in God and recognition that everything belongs to Him profoundly moved me. I found myself thinking: Do I honestly understand that even the most basic, everyday things in my life are really God’s, and He’s simply letting me use them?

After reading this devotional, it made me want to digest a more grateful attitude. My friend and I recently had a conversation about how we often take things for granted. Even the people in our lives, we forget to give encouraging words when they may need it or even if they don't ask for it. I told him "you didn't greet me like you were happy to see me" it made me feel a bit of less importance and he later opened to me and said he didn't because he had other things on his mind at the moment and didn't mean to brush off his greeting to me. That later brought up an important topic about how we shall appreciate each other and many other things more. You never know when you won't see that person again and the least we could do is to show our appreciation to them. He ended up shaking off his inner issues and focused on the goodness of the time we spent together.

Maybe you can be that type of person too, who learns to be happy for the smaller and bigger things in life. You may not have the job you want right now but at least you have a job, you may not have the size house you want but at least you have a house, you may not be able to afford the best quality food at times but at least you can afford to eat. When you wake up in the morning, think about the things that you can choose to be happy about. Think about your health, family, friends, or any little thing that may bring a smile to your face. Take a walk and admire the beauty of nature, cuddle with your puppy, read a good book and make the most of everyday and every moment. Your ambition to living a more positive life will be more worthwhile. Trust me, I've tried it for myself and am still learning how to make myself have a better attitude about things.

When I write things like this, I'm not trying to preach to anyone, but am giving advice on what I know by doing it myself. I am not perfect and will never be. I complain and am not always as kind as I should be, I have daily struggles but God is working on me and shaping me everyday into the person that he desires me to be. We have the best life right there in front of us, we just have to reach out and grab it.

Happy Spring everyone!

Imagine a World Where...

Many of us have hopes and dreams of how we wish the world could be. Some are realistic and some are not. Some of us have more personal desires where we wish we could be more acceptable as far as jobs, friends, or success. It would be nice though, wouldn't it? To never have to hear about killings, for everyone to get along and be happy for one another, for everyone to be financially equal. let's pretend just for a moment that we could make the world however we wanted it to be. I'm going to list three things that I'd like to see or have in my imaginary world.

1. Imagine a world where... Everyone was financially equal. Money seems to have such a strong influence on people. Some make great investments with their money and some do dirty things for money. if everyone has/make the same amount of money then there wouldn't be starvation or people facing eviction and being homeless. And also, people with plenty of wealth wouldn't have to want more money or gain more money because everyone would have the same and wouldn't be able to gain more. Everyone would have what they need and be able to provide for the needs of their loved one.

2. Imagine a World Where... You never get bored. I know, being bored may not seem like the worst thing but for me, it means a whole to me by filling up my time with doing things. If I never once had to be bored in my life that would be really cool! Staying busy with many activities can help your mental health. The only time that we would really have settled downtime is when we go to sleep haha. This may not be much of a dream for some people but, I feel like if I could spend my time where I wanted and when I wanted that would be absolutely fabulous. I would take bikes rides, find a cool concert to go to, go to some classes, eat at a restaurant, hang out with friends and the list is endless! Heck, we could eat, sing, skip just because we simply can. Maybe you're bored because, lack of money, limited resources, or the town you live in isn't a very "happening" place. if money, lack of resources, or by living in a non-happening town wasn't an issue, I bet we would be able to do more and therefore, we would be less bored. Just a possibility...

3. Imagine a world where... everyone was accepted. Acceptance seems to mean a whole lot to people, including myself. If you just think about the world of social media where everyone wants to gain a 1,000 + likes or have several thousand views on YouTube. It's all because they want to be liked by someone or recognized. It's a good feeling, I know. If everyone was accepted regardless of how many likes they have on Instagram, wouldn't that be terrific? They'd be accepted just because of who they are. They don't have to make up some crazy dance, or do some outrageous hairstyle, or stuff a bunch of food in your mouth, you will be liked because you yourself is cool enough on your own. Perhaps, even though I can't change the world and make everyone accepted, I hope that we would still try to adopt that type of attitude towards people.

4. Imagine a world where... Positivity was influenced by everything we do. If positivity was a stronger influence on us all, there wouldn't be those who are out for revenge, paying evil for evil, sending nasty text messages or comments on social media. Even some music today can leave a bit of a negative effect on us. I'm not saying that all hip hop, pop or rock music is all bad. I for one love a little bit of everything (hip hop would be one less liked) but I am not despising those who do like hip hop. However, we all could use a bit of inspiration in our lives at times and 9 0ut of 10 you probably will only find a few inspirational songs oppose to those songs that are about sex, partying or drinking. I have mentioned many times how there aren't many inspirational books out there either; after browsing through most of the selection of the YA books lots of the descriptions started something like this... "After the death of her brother... "once her mother died in a car accident..." "dealing with a drug addict father..." and on and on it goes. Yes, these are real things that happen to many young people but it is not something we should be encouraging our young people to be reading all of the time. If the world would input more positive influence on music, movies, books and even in our everyday lives, oh what a joy that would be. Imagine if we didn't have to necessarily delete the typical content that we're used to, but would simply have more balance to it such as, more meaningful books, music, movies and even in our conversations.

5. Imagine a world where... everyone loved each other. This is a major one that I believe I would change, if given the opportunity. There's so many stories we hear on hate, evil, and jealousy. We hear people losing their lives because someone doesn't have what someone else has. We hear people killing others just because they're unhappy with their lives. Just imagine for a moment, the peace, justice, and joy this world would have if everyone loved like Jesus loves. Jesus loves us no matter the amount of money we have, the amount of talent we have or the number of friends we have. His love remains the same no matter who we are or where we've come from. How humbling is that fact? It certainly is humbling for me. Many of us continue to express when tragic news hits the internet, words like this: "Love each other," "The hate has got to end," "Why can't we love?" Yes, these statements are very true I must say. It's questions that none of us have the answer to but, believe it or not, we can make great changes by showing more love to people. Of course, the world will still have some hateful people but, imagine the change that can begin within us?

Well, this blog was one that was truly meaningful to me. It had me a bit teary-eyed as I was writing. I believe that writing is a gift given from God and I believe that this is one of the ways that he wants to use me through my writing. I hope that this blog would give you a new perspective on life and give you a bit of inspiration for the day. And hey, I noticed that I am a bit serious from time to time with my blogs but more lighthearted posts are soon to come! My intentions are not to write depressing things, but uplifting ones. But my goal for this is also positivity, even if some of the topics I mentioned may be a little sensitive to others. Don't think of it as sad, but think of it as a push to be a ray of light to the world. Let it be good reminders to help you be a better person in this world and to make good changes.

Also, feel free to give me some topic suggestions for future blog posts! I'd love to hear your feedback. Don't forget to subscribe, share and comment!

I will leave you with this:
Devotional
Love is a Command, Not a Feeling.

Love is the ability to overcome offences by grace. Love is also the elimination of barriers, allowing oneself to be light and salt regardless of the circumstance, objections, and opinions of others. Love is not a feeling because if it were based on our feelings the difficulty of loving our enemy and blessing those who curse us, confirms that love could never win. Instead; love is confrontational, causing believers to confront prejudice, while examining Jesus' instruction to “love your neighbour as you love yourself.”

Who’s our "neighbour"? In the Parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus identifies the aide as the most unlikely and least desired solution. Race, political and religious views, and perhaps other differences made the Samaritan an undesirable character in the Parable, but also the catalyst for change - because love confronts prejudice. Reflect on your love walk; should a person's worldview, socioeconomic status, gender, immigration status, or the pigment of their skin exclude them from dialogue or assistance?

It’s an ambassador's responsibility to introduce and spread the culture of the Kingdom (or government) the ambassador represents. That becomes a tough task when only engaging with and loving on those who love you.

Some of the Best Benefits of Walking

We all know that walking does our body some good. But what some of you may not know is, walking is good for the mind also. Here, I wanted to list some of the benefits that walking has.

1. Good Exercise - Well, I know this one is stupid to list but of course walking is good exercise but what makes it such a great exercise is, you don't have to work so hard at doing it. You can feel relaxed and keep your body in shape. It takes a lot longer for us to sweat when we're walking oppose to running or doing some other strenuous exercise. You can walk to and from just about anywhere without even having to sign up for a gym membership. Walking keeps your body fit and your wallet happy!

2. It Keeps You in a Good Mindset - When we take walks, even if it's a short walk, it can really help to relieve our mind after a stressful day. I have tried it for myself and it helped me feel more at ease as I felt the cool breeze brush past my face and admire the beautiful trees and flowers that I walked by. When I'm walking on beautiful, warm sunny days I began to drink up life's most beautiful moments. I usually like to listen to nice, soothing music as I'm walking. I feel like when you're walking, you're not only burning off some calories or shedding a few pounds but you are also walking off some stress too. Keeping yourself locked up in a house will keep you depressed, but if you get outdoors and get fresh air I believe you have a better shot of feeling better.

3. It's a Good Way to Connect with Others - I hear about a lot of couples who say they take walks together. I feel like there must be some sort of specialness for them that makes them want to take walks together. I believe walking creates a great atmosphere for great conversations. While you're walking you feel relaxed and have the nice fresh air to enjoy, which helps open up your mind by having nice surroundings. It's not just a way for couples to connect but child and a parent, sisters, friends. I feel like it's easier perhaps to open up to someone in quieter settings and even moving can help ease up the nerves, (especially if you're talking about a serious matter). Walks can help create a more peacefulness amongst the people talking.

Walking is really peaceful, relaxing and fun to me. Do you enjoy walking? Tell me about some of the benefits that walking has for you. It was really nice writing this blog. I hope you guys may find this blog helpful in anyway and I hope it was enjoyable to read also! Until next time...
