Even though this plan is geared towards teenagers, i've found great encouragement by reading it. Right now i'm in a season of sadness a bit. There's a lot of areas where i feel like i'm failing and it makes me feel weak. I get up every morning hoping for change but never see it even in the slightest.

So, I'm beginning to learn to master my moods and not let my emotions be the ruler over my life. I'm beginning to know that joy won't come from money or material things or romantic relationships etc... On its own but true joy comes from God and once you have the joy of the Lord it'll begin to spread over all of the other areas of your life. Slowly, I'm beginning to break out of my sadness and truly begin to draw my focus more and more on God. Yes, I fail and mess up and get discouraged again, but God pulls me up whenever I get knocked down and I have to trust him wholeheartedly that he'll continue to pick me up and help me when I'm down.

The ways I keep myself happy most is when I'm doing something that I love like, singing, writing, reading and of course, blogging!

Having great people in my life like my family and friends also makes me happy.

So tell me, what makes you happy? And please consider reading this great devotional, it definitely gave me a lift. Maybe it won't be the same for you but I enjoyed reading it.
